Mobile wireless RFIC design and fabrication
    Description

This project can be classified into the Devices/Terminal category. The project aims to design low cost wireless chips for rural communication. Design of novel chips will be carried out with specific effort to minimize area, power consumption and using low cost technology. The project will aim to build a working mobile handset prototype. Specific focus will be on those components that consume most power in a mobile handset namely Voltage Controlled
Oscillator (VCO), Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and Mixer.

  Application

  • Low cost mobile wireless chipsets design and fabrication.
